THE POSITION:

At Eleiko Sport, we are the makers of the world’s best equipment for Weightlifting, Powerlifting, and Strength and Conditioning. We have just opened a new Distribution Center in Austin Texas, and we are looking for full-time Warehouse Staff to support it. You need to be motivated, organized, and detail oriented. A passion for, and knowledge of, strength and fitness training are highly beneficial.

We pride ourselves on being a reliable partner to our customers. The Warehouse Staff is an integral part of achieving this goal, being the final touch point before our products are shipped to our customers. Inbound quality inspections, accurate inbound receiving, and timely and accurate outbound shipping are all of the utmost importance to both our customer’s experience and our brand.

You will be joining the US team in the Austin area and be part of a greater international team with operations worldwide and headquarters in Sweden. You should be dedicated, hardworking, and knowledgeable about warehousing, distribution, and logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the team in the outboard process of completing all assigned orders for the week.
• Packing orders
• Delegating workloads
• Checking on status.
• Informing management of issues.
• Keeping track of shipping supplies and pallet levels.
• Operate stand up and sit-down forklift.
• Ensuring that shipment paperwork is true and accurate.
• Notifying management of delayed or missed pick up.
• Pick orders accurately from inventory locations.
• Ensure all personnel comprehend safety regulations.
• Assist with developing system processes concentrating on warehousing functions.
• Help manage accurate inventory and cycle counts.
• Have accurate and updated knowledge of the inbound procedures and aid when required.
• Keep the outbound dock clear of trash clutter and unusable items.
• Implement training of new outbound procedures and changes.

A GREAT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• 1-2 Years leadership experience
• 1-2 Years warehouse experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems
• Reporting and documentation skills
• The desire to be a team player
• Knowledge about strength and conditioning equipment, and the gym & fitness industry is a HUGE plus!!!
